Twitter Updates

For the past few years, I’ve been active on Twitter. However, the past few months have been a bit of a roller coaster, and I’ve been thinking about how I want to use Twitter in the future and how I want my online presence to reflect my personal values.

What I’ve been doing

I’ve been using Twitter to share my thoughts and ideas, and I’ve been using it to connect with other people. I’ve also been using it to share my blog posts and other content I’ve created.

What I don’t want to do

• I don’t want to support Musk’s Twitter any longer.
• I don’t want to support the platform that he uses to spread misinformation and conspiracy theories.
• I don’t want to support the platform that he uses to spread hate and bigotry.
• I don’t want to support the platform that he uses to spread lies and propaganda.

What I will do instead

Going forward, I will be moving to Mastodon, and you can reach me at @ris@risadams.com.

For archival sake, I will not delete my Twitter account, but I will no longer use it.
