Advice to a former self

Stay curious! And other things I learned too late

Stay curious about everything and anything that you can. Curiosity is the key to learning and knowledge, and will help you grow in ways you never imagined.

Be kind to yourself. Self-love is the most important love of all, so treat yourself with kindness and respect every day!

Be kind to others. You never know what someone is going through, so be kind to everyone you meet. You never know when you might need someone to be kind to you.

Don’t be afraid of failure or rejection - they are simply lessons on the path to success. You will fail, and you will be rejected, but you will learn from it and grow stronger. You will succeed, and you will be accepted, and you will be proud of yourself.

Love

Love yourself, love your family, love your friends, love your partner, love your pets, love your hobbies, love your work, love your life. Love is the most important thing in the world, and it is the only thing that matters.

Stay confident. You are awesome, and you are capable of anything you set your mind to. You are strong, and you are smart, and you are beautiful. You are enough.

Don’t let your fears hold you back. You are stronger than you think, and you can do anything you set your mind to. You are capable of anything you set your mind to, and you can do anything you set your mind to.

Don’t let your past hold you back. You are not your past, and you are not your mistakes. You are not your failures, and you are not your regrets. You are not your past, and you are not your mistakes.
