For the past few years, I've been active on Twitter. However, the past few months have been a bit of a roller coaster, and I've been thinking about how I want to use Twitter in the future and how I want my online presence to reflect my personal values.

It's official: I'm starting a new job with General Dynamics (@GDMS). I have loved working for Barkley (@BarkleyUs, @BarkleyREI) for the past seven years, but it's time to move on.
So, as of April 25th, I will be signing out of slack for the last time. Barkley was a great place to work and it has generally been an incredily satisfying experience. I've grown a lot since I've worked there, and have made many life-long friends.

A New Dawn
Advice to a former self
Stay curious! And other things I learned too late
Stay curious about everything and anything that you can. Curiosity is the key to learning and knowledge, and will help you grow in ways you never imagined.
Be kind to yourself. Self-love is the most important love of all, so treat yourself with kindness and respect every day!
Be kind to others. You never know what someone is going through, so be kind to everyone you meet. You never know when you might need someone to be kind to you.
You have the right to be yourself
As long as you do not harm others, you have the right to stand up for yourself and defend your rights. On the other hand, if you bring harm to others, you may forfeit these rights.
Good Doctors Matter
They told me that my son was a gift to science. They told me that I should abort. They told me to donate his remains to the hospital for research so that some good could come from his condition.
I'm still here
Where have I been lately
It's been quite a while since my last update. I haven't stopped writing, and I haven't given up on the site (again). Life has a way of throwing curveballs, and I've had quite a few things going on—some too personal to share. But I want you to know that I plan on being more present moving forward.
Why I Write
This Isn't for You
After years of silence, I’m back. But let me be clear: this isn’t for you. This site will have typos. It will have grammatical quirks and moments where tense shifts like a poorly edited movie. And you know what? I don’t care. This space is my playground, my canvas, my therapy. Sometimes, you might stumble upon something profound. Other times, it might just be a fleeting thought or a random curiosity. If you find value here, great. If not, remember: I’m not doing this for you.
