Twitter Updates

Personal
One min read

Twitter's been part of my daily routine for years — sharing code snippets, career insights, and connecting with the tech community. But recent changes have me rethinking where I spend my digital energy.

I've used Twitter as my primary platform for sharing technical insights, career advice, and connecting with fellow developers. It's been valuable for building relationships in the DevOps and Agile communities, sharing PowerShell tips, and discussing mental health in tech.

Time to refactor my approach

The platform's direction no longer aligns with my values. I'm not interested in supporting a space that amplifies misinformation or creates unnecessary friction in productive conversations. When a tool stops serving its purpose, you replace it.

The new stack

I'm diversifying my social presence across platforms that better match my goals:

Mastodon remains my primary social platform — you'll find me most active there for tech discussions and community engagement.

Bluesky is where I'm experimenting with a fresh approach to social networking.

LinkedIn stays focused on professional content and career insights.

GitHub continues to be home base for all my code and open source contributions.

My Twitter account stays up for archival purposes, but I'm done feeding that algorithm. Sometimes the best optimization is knowing when to migrate to a better platform.
